At Kenyaways, we provide a unique and rustic beachfront accommodation experience. We're not your typical hotel; we're a quaint, converted holiday home. While we have limited facilities, we offer everything you need for a laid-back, barefoot beachfront holiday in the sun.

Breakfast

Start your day right at Kenyaways with breakfast provided by The Salty Squid Bar and Restaurant, offering a wonderful beachfront view. A simple complimentary breakfast is included in all rates except for complimentary stays and children aged 2 and below. You'll find the breakfast menu in your room, and baby chairs are available upon request. If you're looking for more options, there's a choice of cooked breakfast and other platters available at an extra cost from the menu on the table. If you have an early departure or day trip, you can arrange with The Salty Squid management to have a picnic breakfast packed for you.

Indulge in a delectable dining experience at The Salty Squid Beach Bar and Restaurant, located beachfront at Kenyaways. Owned and managed externally by Oli and Hal, this restaurant has garnered excellent reviews. They take pride in using fresh local organic ingredients, including an abundance of delicious and fresh seafood, offering a wide selection of healthy and reasonably priced dishes. This restaurant is a favourite among our in-house guests and the local Diani Beach community. Please book in advance, especially during lunch and high season. Note that the last food orders are at 9pm, and the bar closes at 9.30pm. Last orders 8.30pm.

Revitalise

Pamper yourself at Kenyaways with massages and beauty therapy available by appointment. Our massage room provides a relaxing, rustic ambiance, allowing you to bask in the soothing sounds of the ocean and the cool breeze. We exclusively use Wild Earth Botanic products in our treatments. Additionally, we have a highly recommended reflexologist named Lydia.

Relax

Unwind in our serene pool area at Kenyaways, nestled in a sheltered and natural setting. Here, you can often enjoy the company of endangered colobus monkeys and silvery-cheeked hornbills, who pay us daily visits. Additionally, we offer a picturesque beachfront area with plenty of rustic beach beds exclusively for Kenyaways guests. Please exercise caution with personal belongings left near the beach to avoid any interference from beach vendors.

Kite storage and assistance

Kenyaways boasts the best kite spot in Diani Beach. Founded by Linzi Kennaway, who started teaching in 2004, our beachfront accommodation is inspired by unbeatable kite conditions. Linzi's passion led to the transformation of her family home into a guest house for kite surfers to enjoy the amazing conditions.

All sea view guest rooms offer kite storage outside the rooms, while pool garden rooms have storage near the beachfront.
